Just wanted to update you all quick about Humanure Power and Anoop Jain.

Earlier in the year, I posted that Humanure Power received $100,000 from the Waislitz Global Citizen Award.  This award was an awesome achievement that I’m sure will inspire our next cohort of social ventures participating in the Changemaker Insitute.

Humanure Power continues to grow as Anoop, co-founder and Changemaker Institute alum, blogs on Huffington Post about the current sanitation crisis in India, specifically Narendra Modi’s, India’s prime minster, promise that each Indian would have access to a toilet by 2019.  For those of you who are really interested in Humanure Power’s work, check out this Huffington Post article for more information.
