What’s your BIG Idea?

Propeller and Tulane have teamed up to offer PitchNOLA: Community Solutions, a live business pitch competition that asks New Orleanians to tell us how they plan to drive progress in their community. We encourage the community to pitch us any idea that offers support to workforce development, children and families, social justice, and the environment.  Open to anyone who resides in or is relocating to NOLA and start up projects (generated less than $50,000 in 2013).

Enter your big socially innovative idea for the chance to win some INSANE prizes.  The first place winner will win $5,000+ in cash, pro bono assistance, and free consulting from Propeller.

Have questions? Check out the website and come to the second Q&A Session: Wednesday, November 12, 2014, 12:00pm-1:00pm

Applications are due Friday, December 19, 11:59pm CST.  Apply online here.

The competition will take place on Wednesday, January 28 from 6-8 PM at Tulane University.  Don’t have an idea but want to check out the competition? Reserve a seat.

Also, check out Birthmark Doulas.  Not only did they win PitchNOLA, but they also received funding from the NewDay Challenge! (If you want to increase your chances of receiving funding from the NewDay challenge and other sources, consider applying for the Changemaker Insitute by November 13th at 11:59 PM).
