Interested in an exciting opportunity through which you can experience global leadership while consulting for the United Nations in a unique academic experience at Babson College? The Babson College Global Leadership Development Experience convenes May 25 – June 19, 2014 and will bring together a small group of talented undergraduate student leaders from around the world who are committed to working with each other and with our faculty to take action on global challenges today. We are confident that your students will return to campus ready to be real changemakers who will positively impact the campus, programs, and community.
For the first time since the program has been offered, students will work directly with UN representatives on select consulting projects related to the efforts of Sustainable Development Goals and the PRME Initiative. Building on the successes of last year and opportunities to bring the program to the next level, interest for this year has already been high. Additional information for the program is available on the website.
The website provides an overview and forms necessary for application. Most importantly, note that March 7 is the deadline for student applications and recommendations. The fee for these credits and all costs related to the month at Babson (room, board, books, student health insurance, activities including a visit to the United Nations in New York City where the students will present their projects to UN representatives, etc.) is $7300. Students will earn four academic credits for this program from Babson. Note that some partial scholarships are available with more details on the website.
