I am a graduate student in history with aspirations of being a high school history teacher. I was a winner of the Changemaker grant to go to the National Council for Public History Conference April 20-22 of 2017. I plan to pursue teaching certification and take what I learned at the conference to not only improve my teaching but hopefully how students approach history as a discipline at the school at large.
