I am a second-year PhD. student in Tulane’s City, Culture and Community program (Urban Studies Track). My research focus is on public participation in developing urban contexts. This summer the Changemaker Catalyst Award allowed me to travel to Bogotá Colombia where I studied the bus rapid transit (BRT) system to understand how Bogotanos are involved in its design, implementation and operation.
