I am a junior at Tulane studying Ecology and Evolutionary Biology with a minor in Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship (SISE). I received the Taylor Changemaker Catalyst Award this spring for my work with a national nonprofit called Women and Youth Supporting Each Other (WYSE), which strives to empower young women through mentoring programs at local middle schools and high schools. As their Operations and Development Intern, I was responsible for leading national fundraising campaigns and doing developmental research for the organization.
