Arianna King holds a Master's Degree in Urban Studies from the University of New Orleans and is currently a Doctoral Candidate in the Tulane School of Liberal Art's interdisciplinary City, Culture, and Community Doctoral Program. She is an Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Ghana '09-'12) and Fulbright Alumni (2019-2020). Her dissertation explores the socio-spatial impacts of the modernization of public urban marketplaces in Ghana focusing on the lived experiences of a wide variety of urban stakeholders including: market vendors, architects, engineers, and local residents.
