CELT has some funding available to assist you in creating engaged learning experiences during your summer break (and any fall opportunities that you have already lined up). Please fill out the attached application and turn in a completed and signed W-9 form no later than Monday, May 20 at 11:59 PM. Completed applications can be turned into our office at 310 Richardson Building or e-mailed to rotten@tulane.edu.

CELT-SI Engaged Learning Awards

Engaged learning experiences are vital for students interested in pursuing careers related to social innovation, social entrepreneurship, and changemaking. We aim to make it possible for students to pursue experiences in these and related fields that build their skills as changemakers. In the application, students must be able to articulate how the experience:

• Illustrates academic theories and concepts they are learning inside or outside the classroom,
• Assists in building their potential career path, and
• Ties to the definitions of social innovation, social entrepreneurship, or change making.

Please note: We are very flexible in how you need to use the funding, based on your unique engaged learning experience. However, we will not pay for flights home or daily meals during your experience, since these are costs you would incur regardless of the experience.
