Since 2007, the Dell Social Innovation Challenge (DSIC) engaged student social entrepreneurs from over 100 countries and awarded more than $800,000 in seed funding to over 90 ventures who created tangible global impact for our planet.
The Dell Social Innovation Challenge (DSIC) has evolved into a new program and will be known as Verb U, managed by the team at Verb. Verb is a new social enterprise that partners with multiple companies, foundations and governments around the world to run a variety of exciting entrepreneurship competitions year-round!
As the next chapter of the Dell Social Innovation Challenge, Verb U supports university students and recent graduates in their diverse entrepreneurship endeavors across the world. University student social entrepreneurs can enter multiple global Verb competitions for opportunities to win seed funding, gain invaluable global exposure and collaborate with fellow social entrepreneurs.
While Dell will no longer sponsor the Dell Social Innovation Challenge, Verb will launch five exciting new competitions this year with different organizations. Through Verb U, you can still access your DSIC projects, edit them and submit them to our other competitions or create new projects. If you had a DSIC username and password, you can still use them on our platform.
We would love for you to be part of the Verb U community for the chance to enter multiple competitions throughout the year for many more opportunities for funding, world-class mentoring and invaluable global exposure (you don’t need to be an active student). Register or login here to begin!
