The ThinkImpact Institute is currently offering five different programs running from December 30th, 2013 to January 10th, 2014: Ghana Food Innovation, Panama Health Innovation, Rwanda Education Innovation, Rwanda Social Innovation, and Panama Social Innovation.
At ThinkImpact we think education is a lifestyle. It’s setting aside ego to learn more. Being engrossed and invigorated in your interests propels your curiosity and inspires the confidence to own your future.
Join us this winter and dive into the grey area between theory and practice. On this program you will blend the latest thinking in social and professional development and return changed forever.
Through each of these programs, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in the local community and culture, brainstorm solutions in a group, establish innovative products and services, and receive feedback from community members. One-third of institute alumni expand upon their innovation from the Institute, and 86% are still in touch with community members in the village they visited. For more information on the Institute, check out this page. For more information on applications, travel, and concerns, visit the FAQ page here.
It sounds very interesting to participate but 4,700 dollars is a high price to pay for a learning, helping and exchanging with fellow enthusiasts. The Think Impact institute should consider building up resource base on the collaborative consumption model thus reducing costs for its participants. I really wish I could go!
