Incentive Funding for Sexual Health Dissertation Research

Changemaker Catalyst Award recipient, Ashlee Walker, received $600 for incentive funding for participants to complete her survey the Marriage and Family Therapy Master’s Students-in-Training Sexual Health Inventory (MFT-MSIT Sexual Health Inventory). Ashlee created this survey for the second study of her dissertation research, and she will use the funding to provide sixteen $30 Visa gift cards for participants who enter a raffle for one of the gift cards. Ashlee is a 6th year doctoral candidate at Tulane’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in the Global Community Health and Behavioral Sciences Department.

The following is a video post that describes Ashlee’s research, how the Changemaker Catalyst Award funds are being utilized, challenges and accomplishments, how this study seeks to create social change, and how conducting this research will impact her future career.
