Cadeaux Collective is thrilled to announce the location of a six week holiday pop-up shop at the new music venue Gasa Gasa (4920 Freret Street)! Starting November 15th through the holidays, get all your fair trade and locally made holiday shopping done as always with us! Exact hours and events announced soon.

Cadeaux Collective, was formerly known as The International New Orleans Exchange (IN Exchange). It was founded in 2007 with the support of the Levy-Rosenblum Institute for Entrepreneurship at Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business. IN Exchange received an initial start-up grant from the National Basketball Association and received additional funding from local New Orleans small businesses to help cover legal and administrative costs. Since then, the business has been sustainable through in-store sales as well as private donations.

For 5 ½ years IN Exchange operated as a retail fair trade store in the Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life,on Tulane’s uptown campus in New Orleans, Louisiana. Currently, Cadeaux Collective has transitioned into a new model. There is no longer a permanent retail location, but you will be able to find us throughout the city at various pop-up stores, trunk shows and festivals.

Cadeaux Collective aims to create sustainable livelihoods, support economic development and economically empower fair trade producers and buyers at the local and international levels by establishing long-term relationships based on trust and mutual empowerment. Cadeaux Collective also strives to empower the next generation of social entrepreneurs by educating students about fair trade practices and global citizenship.

Cadeaux Collective is also looking for part-time store help. Employees will work one to three days at the pop-up shop for six weeks and will be paid hourly (and receive a store discount!). Volunteers are also needed to help set up shop on November 14th and 15th! Volunteers will also receive a discount.
