Too often, would-be intrapreneurs find themselves trapped in corporate ‘silos’. Isolated from the day-to-day workings of a company, these innovators are confined to departments on the fringe of the organization’s operations. Sometimes, they exist more to satisfy a lofty mission statement than a practical purpose.

Silo-busters will not be limited to a remote office, and prefer to inspire systemic change from the back room all the way to the boardroom. They strive to leverage a corporation’s structures to achieve a social or environmental goal.
