Operation Groundswell helps students backpack through the developing world in an affordable, accountable, and sustainable way. With a combination of service, independent travel, adventure, and integration, students are able to get the true travel experience (no touristy spots here!) . Travel to Central America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and more with a group of your peers on a life changing travel experience!

Operation Groundswell is a non-profit organization that offers travel and community service experiences around the world. We aim to build a community of “backpacktivists” that are socially, environmentally and politically aware of their impact in the communities they travel to and live in.
