Justin Sandoval is a Senior at Tulane University, double majoring in Sociology and Gender & Sexuality Studies. They are passionate about diversity, inclusion, and equity at Tulane, specifically when it comes to the experiences of students of color, LGBTQ+ students, and first-generation students. As a native New Orleanian, Justin is proud to be a recipient of the Posse Foundation’s Four-Year Full-Tuition Leadership Scholarship. Justin’s accomplishments during their time at Tulane include running for Student Body President, serving as an Orientation Coordinator and a Wave Leader during New Student Orientation, participating in the LeaderShape Institute, and directing musical theater showcases with the Tulane Musical Performance Organization. Additionally, this academic year, Justin is serving as an Ambassador for the “O’, the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Office for Gender and Sexual Diversity. They are honored to be a recipient of the Changemaker Catalyst Award awarded by The Phyllis M. Taylor Center for Social Innovation and Design Thinking.
